Blizzard Blasts Burbank, Drops 20 Tons of Snow!

DOWNTOWN BURBANK, Calif. – Kids will throw on warm scarves and mittens to play in 20 tons of snow on the AMC Walkway in Downtown Burbank, Saturday, December 11 from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. 

With Saturday’s forecast predicting sunny and near 80 F, Snow Day in Downtown Burbank promises to be the coolest party around! Kids will enjoy romping, sledding, making snow men and snow angels. Plus, there will be live music, mini crafts, free refreshments and sculptor Rex Covington carving reindeer and snowflakes from blocks of ice.

Now in its sixth year, Snow Day is a 12 Days of Holiday Cheer signature event, Downtown Burbank’s biggest seasonal celebration with scores of free activities throughout the district (runs through December 12).
