Author: Press Release
BURBANK, Calif. — Visit Burbank has announced the launch of its new website promoting Burbank hotels, attractions, and amenities, and targeting tourists with an image-driven, interactive, and responsive design. The goal of the site is boost hotel occupancy while positioning Burbank as a premier travel and leisure destination.
Inspired by the latest in website design and using high-quality visuals, www.visitburbank.com is designed to take visitors on an interactive journey of the best that Burbank has to offer. Browsing categories such as STAY & UNWIND, which is geared to hotels and special packages, to SEE & DO, which covers Burbank neighborhoods, studio tours, TV tapings, shopping, and other activities, to EAT & DRINK, which promotes restaurants, cafes, and nightlife, or BOOK A HOTEL, which is a hassle-free way to book trips via a state-of-the-art travel and hotel booking engine, the site lays out options to inspire travelers by the city’s diversity of choices.
The redesign also aligns Visit Burbank’s website with the association’s recently launched branding and advertising campaign under the theme “See the Bigger Picture,” which includes the city’s first-ever 90-second promotional video, also available on the website.
"The new site communicates that Burbank is on the pulse of the entertainment industry with studio tours and tapings, but shows that there is so much more," states Tom Whalen, General Manager, Hotel Amarano, and Chair, Visit Burbank. “Burbank is easily accessible to many of Los Angeles’ most popular attractions, and with our own airport, we’re a convenient destination. Bottom-line, Burbank offers the quintessential Southern California vibe that people expect when they visit LA."
Filling out the picture, the site also dedicates space to Meetings, detailing unique world-class options for groups and conventions at such venues as Warner Bros. Special Events, Calamigos Equestian, The Castaway, Pickwick Gardens, and DeBell Golf Course. The city also boasts eight conference hotels, 2,370 total guest rooms, and 50,000 square feet of combined convention space at the Los Angeles Burbank Airport Marriott Hotel. Citywide special events are also covered on the site, from the Saturday Farmers Market in Downtown Burbank, to Magnolia Park’s Ladies and Gents Night Out, to special holiday happenings, demonstrating that there is always something new happening in Burbank.
