New Multimedia Specialist Program in the heart of Burbank

The new Multimedia Specialist Program at InterCoast features an accelerated course curriculum that helps students prepare for opportunities in this emerging field. Through industry-current classroom material and hands-on training opportunities, students can explore what it takes to design, animate, shoot and program for print and web. The main objective of this intensive course of study is to prepare and expose the student to the demands of this rapidly changing industry.
Students enrolled in Multimedia Studies Program at InterCoast can develop a knowledge of graphic editing, audio, video editing, interactivity on the web, and learn the best practices of using digital technology for communication, education and entertainment.
The program is 900 hours and takes 40 weeks to complete. Students start off with professional development and move on to learning design software used by the industry ( HYPERLINK "http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/mastercollection.html" Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Master Collection), shooting and editing video, designing for web and portfolio development.
Graduates of the Multimedia Studies program have the opportunity to develop a well-reounded portfolio, which they can use to help them move toward potential entry-level career opportunities in the digital communication industry.
