Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra will be holding its annual "Music for the Family" concert at the Hall of Liberty at Forest Lawn in Los Angeles on March 21, 2009. This concert is free for the entire family to attend, and it's a great way to spend an evening.
The concert, led by BPO conductor Steven Kerstein, is scheduled to begin at 7:30. An hour prior to the concert, Burbank Philharmonic will be hosting a "Musical Menagerie" for children (and others), giving them an opportunity to see the instruments up close and to meet some members of the Philharmonic.
Anne Lee will be performing as the Violin soloist, and Lauren Michell Criddle will be performing as the Soprano soloist. Expected pieces to be performed include Bartok's Concerto No. 2, Arias by Mozart, Puccini, Verdi, Sebelius' Symphony No.2.
