Burbank, CA - The Burbank on Parade committee is pleased to announce “Corey In The House” and “Hatching Pete” star Jason Dolley as the 2009 Grand Marshall. Other celebrity entries in this year’s Hollywood themed parade are Charmian Carr, who starred as Liesl Von Trapp in the 1965 Classic, “The Sound of Music” and Comedian Johnny Dark, known for his reoccurring appearances on the “Late Show with David Letterman.”
This years parade entries will honor the ”Hollywood” theme and will consist of over ten local Marching Bands, Cheer Teams and Drill Squads. Dignitaries include Congressman Adam Schiff and Senator Carolyn Lu. Equestrian entry favorites Fiesta of the Spanish Horse and Big Al are returning again to wow the crowd as well as Topa Topa – “Big Green Tractors”, Bob Hope Airports Water Shooter Fire Engine and the infamous Road Kings Car Club.
Spectators will be delighted to see the special tribute to the Hollywood sign and the grand finale sponsored by The Burbank Tournament of Roses Association.

“Burbank on Parade Goes Hollywood” is the 2009 theme selected by the Burbank on Parade organizers. It honors Burbank’s heritage as Media Capitol of the World! This year’s parade will take place on April 25, 2009 at 11:00am on Olive Avenue from Keystone to Lomita.
