DOWNTOWN BURBANK, Calif. -- Browse thousands of works of art for sale, participate in interactive art projects and enjoy nonstop live entertainment at the Downtown Burbank ARTS Festival on San Fernando Boulevard between Magnolia Boulevard and Olive Avenue, Saturday, April 16 from 10:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. and Sunday, April 17 from 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. More than 30,000 art patrons are expected to attend. The Downtown Burbank ARTS Festival is free and open to the public.
The four-block show features more than 100 outstanding artists and the next generation of talent from Burbank schools, as well as numerous opportunities to support quality arts education with Burbank Arts for All.
Included will be paintings, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, fiber art, fine glass, woodwork, mixed-media and photography. Live entertainment, street painting, art demonstrations and free workshops will add to the fun.
The festival will devote an entire city block to Burbank students and their work. Included will be interactive art booths featuring clay, crazy hats, arts trading cards, musical fun and more; live stage performances all weekend; student and faculty artwork for display and purchase; plenty of other creative activities, and the experience of art and the creative process first-hand. Patrons are invited to try their luck with raffles and opportunity baskets to raise funds for Burbank Arts for All, a non-profit organization dedicated to ensuring permanent and equal access to quality arts education for all of Burbank’s 15,000 students. www.burbankartsforall.org
