The Flapper’s Comedy Club in Burbank will host a special event Comedy Fundraiser for the Burbank Tournament of Roses Association on March 11th, 2012, from 5:00 - 7:00pm.
Your host for the event will be Fritz Coleman, Emmy Award winner for his work on NBC4 comedy specials and series, and named "Best Weathercaster" in Southern California.
Featured for the evening will be the notable comic talents of Charles Fleischer (Roger Rabbit), Dana Eagle (UNConventional, Comedy Central), James P Connolly (Comedy Central, HBO), Jimmy Brogan (Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Showtime), Natisha Anderson (Comedy Central, super Bowl Commercials), and Sammy K Obeid (Food Network, Throwdown).

Fritz Coleman -Host/MC
CHANNEL 4 NEWS , ICE HOUSE, COMEDY STORE
Fritz Coleman is NBC4´s weathercaster on the weekday editions of "Channel 4 News," airing at 5, 6 and 11PM. A Southern California broadcasting icon, Coleman is well known for his sense of humor and extensive knowledge of weather. Coleman has been named "Best Weathercaster" in nearly every major paper in Southern California, including the Orange County Register (Critic´s Choice Pool), the San Bernardino Sun (Readers Poll) and four times in the Los Angeles Daily News (Readers Poll).
A long-time stand-up comic, Coleman has performed at The Improvisation, The IceHouse and other Southern California comedy clubs. He has utilized his humor in a number of series and specials that have aired on NBC4 over the years including "What a Week" (1990 � 1991), "It´s Fritz" (1988-1990), "Fritz and Friends" (Special) and "The Perils of Parenting" (Special). He received four Los Angeles area Emmy Awards for his work on the NBC4 comedy specials and series.
Charles Fleischer - Comedian
WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT , THE POLAR EXPRESS, WELCOME BACK, KOTTER
Fleischer was born in Washington, D.C. As a child, he is reported to have spent several summers at Kamp Kewanee in La Plume, Pennsylvania, where he started practicing his stand-up routine at age nine. He is best known as the voices of Roger Rabbit, Benny The Cab, Greasy and Psycho in Disney and Amblin Entertainment's 1988 live action/animated hybrid murder mystery noir film Who Framed Roger Rabbit. After that film's success, Fleischer continued to perform the voice of Roger in several Disney television and theme park appearances at several of the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, and in three follow-up short subjects to the original film. Other voice roles for Fleischer include The Polar Express and We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story. On-screen roles include Back to the Future Part II and Gridlock’d.
Fleischer has had roles on TV shows: he has had a recurring role on the 1970s hit TV series Welcome Back, Kotter as Carvelli, as Chuck on the hit ABC series Laverne & Shirley, and on the popular Disney cartoon series House of Mouse as the voice of Benny The Cab. He guest starred in The Weird Al Show as a guy in a band. He also appeared on the short lived Saturday morning show Wacko. He is also a musician, songwriter, and is now the part-owner of a multi-media company in Southern California and a writer for TV and movies.
Dana Eagle - Comedian

Miss Eagle appeared in an ABC Pilot with Jason Alexander and was the host of Comcast On Demand's UNConventional. She has been seen on The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Comedy Central and Byron Allen's Comics Unleashed, following which she became a contributing writer. She is most proud of the unique experience performing throughout Iraqi bases for the troops. She was showcased in HBO´s US Comedy Arts Festival in her solo show, Stones From Glass Houses followed by the second in the series, Mood Disorders: A Light-Hearted Romp Through Crippling Depression, featured at the Los Angeles Women´s Theatre Festival. She recently completed a pilot for the E! Entertainment Network, and has been seen in a series of memorable commercials beside Jay Mohr and football legend, Boomer Esiahson.
James P Connolly - Comedian
SIRIUS/XM SATELLITE RADIO, COMEDY CENTRAL, HBO, VH1,
James P. Connolly is a stand up comedian and radio/TV host known for his playful, confident style and unique sense of humor.
In addition to having appeared on Comedy Central and HBO, James hosted VH1´s "Movie Obsessions" and more recently "Live From Here" on XM Radio for National Lampoon. He is recognized across the country as one of the most played comedians on the Sirius XM Comedy Channels and is a frequent guest on the nationally syndicated Bob and Tom Radio Show. James has also made multiple trips overseas to entertain the troops.
His latest CD "The Master Plan" debuted to rave reviews on XM Radio´s Comedy Concert Series and has been called "captivating" and "laced with intelligent humor, edgy opinions" and "leaves them (the crowd) hanging on his every word!"
James also wants you to know you he has a very manly voice.
Jimmy Brogan - Comedian
TONIGHT SHOW W/LENO, COMIC STRIP LIVE, SHOWTIME
Jim has performed his standup comedy and made guest appearances on The Tonight Show starring Johnny Carson and Late Night with David Letterman.
He also got other TV jobs. He hosted Laffathon (Showtime), Comic Strip Live (Fox) and You Asked For It, Again (Family Channel). The perfectionist that he is, he won't be satisfied until he has been cancelled by all the networks.
Deciding that he could save a few dollars by not hiring a lawyer, he worked for nine years as an indentured servant on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. His areas of responsibility included being a writer and talent coordinator (booking comedians for the show).
Since leaving The Tonight Show, Jim has been busier than ever. Besides doing his standup, he has written two movies and seen three others.
Natisha Anderson - Comedian
COMEDY CENTRAL PILOT , CA'S FUNNIEST FEMALE CONT, SUPER BOWL COMMERCIALS
Natisha Anderson is a white girl with a black lady's name. Originally from the cornfields of Indiana, she began her performing career in the Lincoln Elementary School production of Dinosaurs as Paleontologist #4, searching for the great triceratops. Natisha is now a Los Angeles based stand up comedian. She was a semi-finalist in CA's Funniest Female Contest 2009. She has performed with Whitney Cummings, Bob Saget, Sebastian and Maria Bamford. Natisha's done Super Bowl commercials and a Comedy Central pilot, and still loves dinosaurs.
Sammy K Obeid - Comedian

Lebanese American born in Oakland California, Sammy K Obeid applies his UC Berkeley double major in math and business to bringing laughter to the nation. A professional, nationally-touring comedian at 26, Sammy's style has been described as 'refreshingly intelligent', 'hopeful and inspiring', and 'a youthful perspective that reaches all ages'. Recently placing in the top 3 of the San Francisco International Comedy Competition amongst veteran comedians of 15 years or more, Sammy's 4 years in comedy have proven explosive. His national appeal has earned him 'Best of the Fest' in the Arab American Comedy Festival in New York, as well as the Out of Bonds Festival in Austin. Sammy is the youngest member of the national touring troupe, CoExist Comedy, the founder of his own comedy group and enterprise, KO Comedy, as well as the first comedian ever to appear on the Food Network telling jokes.
