BURBANK ROSE FLOAT COMEDY FUNDRAISER AT FLAPPERS COMEDY CLUB

This Monday, March 28 starting at 8:00 p.m. at Flapperï¿½s Comedy Club in Burbank, a fundraiser benefiting the Burbank Tournament of Roses Association is now a Comedy Night Fundraiser. Suggested donation is still just $20.00 per person.
We have many great prizes that be raffled away along with some very exciting auction items to bid on.
The Comedy night will star the award-winning comedy duo of Deven Green and Joel Bryant. They have been performing their unique brand of original comedy together since 1998. Headlining from Las Vegas to the Arctic to maximum security prisons they have also performed for the troops in the Middle East and Europe. Deven's cult comedy parodies and Betty Bowers' satires were named Top 20 by NY Magazine and Top 10 by NY Times. Joel is recognizable from film and TV shows like, "Monk," "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior," and "The Heartbreak Kid." Married in real-life, this couple will make you soil yourself with laughter.

Born and raised in St. Paul, MN this talented, driven and most importantly, funny Stand Up Comedienne, Vanessa Graddick has been taking comedy by storm. In record time, Vanessa has performed all over the country including major Comedy Clubs in California, New York, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, Florida and more. Based in California she is a regular at venues such as The Comedy Union, The Laugh Factory, Improv, and the Ice House Comedy Club. In 2007, Vanessa won the Uncle Clydeï¿½s Comedy Competition at the Ice House. As the winner of this competition she competed in the 2007 Boston Comedy Festival. Additionally she has participated in the New York Underground Comedy Festival and the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition. Most recently Vanessa has expanded her experience to performing for American Soldiers in South Korea and taping Byron Allenï¿½s Comics Unleashed.
Sam is a veteran actor/comedian. From a professional dancer in movies such as "Mame" with Lucille Ball and stage musicals like "Hello Dolly" with Martha Raye and the "Music Man" with Van Johnson, he graduated to acting roles. You have seen him on such shows as "Bob Newhart"(Emmy nomination), "Family Ties" "Lou Grant", "Airwolf", "MADTV" "Evening at the Improv" and "The Jerry Lewis Telethon". Not to mention voice overs for cartoons and many, many on camera appearances in national commercials. As a stand up, he has appeared at Caesars Palace Lake Tahoe, the Alladin Hotel, the Riviera, Rodneys Place, the Comedy Store, the Improv, the Ice House and comedy clubs around the country. For 17 years he was the voice of Donald Duck at Disney studios. A new book just came out called, "Mouse Tracks" featuring Sam as the Duck.

Flappers Comedy Club is located at 102 E. Magnolia (at the corner of Magonlia and First Street) in Burbank. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. for dinner. There is a two item minimum (drinks and/or food). All ages welcome, however 18+ years old preferred.
