Wine tastings, holiday shopping and an all-ages tree lighting are the perfect start to the holiday season
Burbank, Calif. — This weekend, Burbank is kicking off the holidays in style with the first-ever Winter Wine Walk, which is taking over Downtown Burbank on Saturday, November 19.
This celebration of wine and local businesses will canvas several blocks at the heart of Downtown Burbank’s shopping and dining neighborhood, transforming stores along San Fernando Boulevard into the wine-tasting event of the season.
The event will showcase more than 20 wine-tasting spots inside numerous shops and restaurants, alongside live musical performances, a magical snowfall from the main stage, and a festive tree-lighting that is open to all.
The Winter Wine Walk will include multiple California craft wineries. Tasting stations will be set up throughout Downtown Burbank’s many shopping and culinary destinations.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 19, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The tree-lighting will take place next to the main stage at 6:45 p.m., followed by a snowfall from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and The Bomb performing until 8:00 p.m.
The walk will occur in Downtown Burbank mainly on San Fernando Boulevard, between Magnolia Boulevard and Angeleno Avenue. The tree-lighting will take place at Palm Avenue and San Fernando Boulevard.
Tickets to the Winter Wine Walk are $45 and include a tasting glass and a map of tasting stops. Participants must be at least 21 years of age with valid ID to participate. The tree-lighting and snowfall are for all ages, and open to the public.
